Resource: Victorious Living

Victorious Living is a prison ministry that seeks to deliver hope to men and women behind bars. The ministry was created after its founder, Kristi Overton Johnson, visited an incarcerated friend and realized the hopelessness of life behind bars. Since its creation in 2013, the lives of over one million inmates have been impacted through Victorious Living’s prison ministry.

Victorious Living produces a quarterly publication called Victorious Living Magazine that is free to inmates. Each issue of Victorious Living Magazine aims to deliver testimonies of God’s faithfulness and love and provide hope for incarcerated men and women. Every inmate who writes to Victorious Living receives personal correspondence, quarterly Bible teachings, and a personal subscription to Victorious Living Magazine. However, Victorious Living Magazine is not only for inmates—every donor that contributes to Victorious Living receives Victorious Living Magazine for free as a thank you for their donation.

Victorious Living is an outreach of KOJ ministries, an independent non-profit organization founded in 2009 by Kristi Overton Johnson. KOJ ministries' mission is to encourage hearts, equip minds, and empower lives through tangible acts of God’s love and the truth of His Word. NC-CURE partners with KOJ ministries. Our executive director, Sandra Hardee, and our board member, Ron Capell, stories will be included in the January Issue of Victorious Living Magazine.
